Chris Wick

Christie Wick has been an active member of MOCA since her diagnosis of Stage IIc ovarian cancer in 2004, at the age of 34. She plays a leadership role in MOCA’s Young Survivors Network and has hosted several Calling All Angels fundraising events.

Chris holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She currently works as a counselor at Family Based Therapy Associates in Coon Rapids.  She and her husband, Jon, and son, Jasper, live in southwest Minneapolis, where they enjoy canoeing, biking, cross-country skiing, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Chris feels fortunate for the strength and wisdom she has gained from MOCA members and is honored to serve on the board of directors.
