Dona Maki

Dona Maki, an oncology certified nurse (OCN) since 1992 and a cancer chemotherapy provider since 2001, joined the MOCA board in 2003.
Dona began her career in gyn-oncology nursing in 1981 and has worked in a variety of positions since then, including staff nurse, assistant nurse manager, and program coordinator for the women’s cancer program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Nurse Oncologists and the Oncology Nursing Society.
Dona and her husband live in Minneapolis and are grandparents of six. Her hobbies include traveling, playing bridge, fishing, golfing, and the Green Bay Packers.
