Nila Ouska joined the MOCA staff in 2009. As finance manager, she is responsible for the accounting functions as well as preparing financial statements, employee benefits administration, corporate insurance administration, preparing information for the annual audit, and compliance with Charities Review Council requirements. She also assists with budgeting, selling items for the MOCA store during meetings, and overseeing the financial duties at MOCA events.
Nila holds a bachelor’s degree from Winona State University, with majors in accounting and business administration. She has also taken numerous business courses at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and finished a certificate program (Leaders of the New Millennium) at the College of St. Catherine.
Nila says she enjoys working with the MOCA’s committed staff and its many dedicated volunteers.
