The Molly Cade Scramble for Ovarian Cancer is held each July on the immaculate fairways of the beautiful Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, the day after the Midsummer Night’s Gala.

The format is a classic scramble with four-person teams. In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball drops into the cup.

Brackett’s Crossing was named 2008 Golf Course of the Year and has hosted many MGA and USGA events. Its course is challenging yet fair in its play, designed for players of all skill levels, genders and ages to enjoy their round.

Two tournaments are held — one starting at 7:30 a.m. and the other at 1:30 p.m.  Both tournaments include a buffet lunch, golf goodies and team prizes. The $200 entrance fee ($800 per team of four) also includes a ticket to the Midsummer Night’s Gala (a $75 value).

The Molly Cade Scramble for Ovarian Cancer is also presented by our premier sponsors, King Solutions, and Eastlund, Solstad, Cade & Hutchinson.
