Silent No More Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer

14th Annual Silent No More Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer will be held:

Saturday, September 7, 2013

7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. — Rosland Park, Edina

4300 W 66th Street — Edina, MN (see map)

The Annual Silent No More Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer is MOCA’s largest fundraising event of the year, and it has the most participants of any of our events. It is always held in September, which is national Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

Since 1999, MOCA has awarded more than $4 million for ovarian cancer research in Minnesota, thanks in a large part to the success of the Silent No More Walk/Run.

Each year, thousands turn up at Rosland Park (near Southdale in Edina) to raise funds for ovarian cancer research, raise awareness and education of the disease, and give support and hope to women and their families touched by ovarian cancer.

Please join us for this truly meaningful event, which includes a 5K (3.1-mile) run or 2K (1.2-mile) walk around Lake Cornelia, a Kids Fun Run, a group photo of ovarian cancer survivors, and more. Bottled water is provided, and fruit and snacks are served.

Survivor Stories

I want to encourage other survivors to find inner tools that can create new possibilities for themselves despite the disease.

Ovarian cancer survivors share their stories, because no one should have to face this disease alone.
