These events are organized by MOCA’s supporters, with the proceeds supporting MOCA’s mission to raise awareness, offer support to women and their families, and advance research to promote earlier detection, better treatment and a cure for ovarian cancer.

TIE it TEAL
Do you want to raise awareness of ovarian cancer? Then Tie it Teal with MOCA this fall!
We are excited to announce our new campaign to spread teal throughout the state during September Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month!
Spring Fling Diva Run
Final Stretch Inc. has welcomed Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance as the recipient of a portion of each registration for the Spring Fling held at the end of April. $5 of each registration fee is donated By Final Stretch Inc. In addition participants can set up fundraising pages on MOCA’s website, in which proceeds directly benefit MOCA. We are honored to be their charity of choice for this event.
Rock the Cure Accoustic evening | Rock the Cure Concert
As part of Rock the Cure’s new direction, they have welcomed Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance to their family of local charities as the recipients of a portion the money raised through their events. MOCA is honored to have their support and be a part of this great event.
Northland Teal Run
This race is the first year for this event in northern Minnesota. There is a 5K walk/run for men and women, as well as a 1K Kids Fun Run. The event will be held at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd, MN. This site offers 20 kilometers of beautiful trails great for all seasons!
Glenwood Golf Tournament
This annual Golf Tournament is held in memory of Marie Ogdahl and put on by her friends and family each summer in Glenwood, MN. The proceeds of the event benefit MOCA in our mission to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and provide support to survivors, and their friends and family.
Diva Dash
Final Stretch Inc. welcomed Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance as the recipient of a portion of each registration for the Diva Dash held in November. $5 of each registration fee is donated By Final Stretch Inc. Holiday Plant Sale
MOCA is very fortunate to be the charity of choice for the Northern Lights League’s annual holiday plant sale.
Quilt Project
MOCA has a large handmade teal quilt that we use at health fairs and awareness events throughout the state. Each square was made by or for a survivor of ovarian cancer, and each square holds a special story.
