Online Support
When diagnosed with ovarian cancer or caring for a loved one with the disease, it is very easy to feel afraid and alone. Seeking support from others who are on the same journey can turn a terrifying experience into one filled with hope, strength and inspiration. Besides the many MOCA support groups available, there are also on-line resources to help you through your journey:
The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) Support Community connects patients, families, friends and caregivers for support and inspiration through their INSPIRE online support network.
The Association for Cancer Online Resources (ACOR) offers access to mailing lists that provide support, information, and community to everyone affected by cancer and related disorders.
- ACOR also offers an online support group (listserv) for young survivors of gynecologic cancers (cancers of the reproductive system including endometrial, uterine, fallopian tube, cervical, and ovarian cancer).Get started with ACOR’s online group for young survivors
