MOCA board member Lisa Barnholdt is looking forward to the Mid Summer Night’s Gala at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club on Sunday, July 21. She answers some frequently asked questions about the gala in this Teal Together post.
We’re only days away from one of MOCA’s greatest events, the Mid Summer Night’s Gala. This is a night of fun and festivities. If you haven’t attended in the past, here are some highlights to look forward to.
As you can see, the tables are dressed almost as well as the guests, with beautiful centerpieces. And we all love that even the ceiling at Brackett’s is decked out in teal lights.
What to wear?
That’s always on everyone’s mind. Wear something that makes you feel good. The night is dressy casual so you’ll see ladies in sundresses, party dresses and of course teal. The men usually look casual in sporty shirts and pants. Many people come with family and friends, or come on your own and you’ll be sure to connect with other MOCA supporters!
What to bring?
Your friends, family, checkbook – and of course your smiles and laughter! This year we’re excited to announce some ultra-cool silent and live auction items, including Minnesota Twins and Wild tickets, trips and I’ve heard even tickets to Taylor Swift’s upcoming concert in St. Paul this September. Any fans out there?
What to do once you get there?
Socialize, shop and play! Get ready for our famous Heads or Tails game, this time for a chance at a $500 HOM Furniture gift card.
It’s going to be an awesome night. I’m so looking forward to gathering with the MOCA community and spending time celebrating the women of MOCA. See you in a few days!
