BLOG: A 15 year survivor is committed to Raise it for Research!

A generous $20,000 gift from Bob and Pam MacDonald means your Give to the Max Day gift will be doubled.

Pam MacDonald is a 15-year ovarian cancer survivor. Because the MacDonalds care deeply about ovarian cancer research, this year all donations from Give to the Max Day will go to MOCA’s ovarian cancer research funding. Our goal is to fund an entire research grant through Give to the Max Day!

Bob and Pam have been chairpersons of MOCA’s Spin it Teal events for the past 5 years. This year, instead of holding an event, they decided to take their support of MOCA in a different direction by offering a match for Give to the Max Day.

Pam is committed to giving back. “I want to bring hope to other women by funding new research, so desperately needed in the fight against ovarian cancer,” says Pam.

How can you Raise it for Research with MOCA?

MOCA needs your help to raise $20,000 and meet our $40,000 fundraising goal. From now through Give to the Max Day on Thursday, Nov. 15 you can donate to MOCA’s “Raise it for Research” campaign. Your donation will go directly to research, helping MOCA make a difference in the future of ovarian cancer.

We are also grateful to our friends at Delta Dental who have generously sponsored $5,000 to the Give to the Max Day efforts.
