1.7.15 Linda Linder is a survivor and MOCA Board Vice-President. As part of our Gala committee, she’s telling us about a surprise in store for MOCA Gala-goers this year!
We’ve been sitting on a surprise here at MOCA that I’m excited to finally announce!
After several sell-out years, MOCA has decided to move our annual Gala from the summer to the spring, and hold it at a beautiful hotel in Minneapolis on a Saturday evening. We’re excited to be able to accommodate more attendees on a Saturday night.
The newly-named Black, White & Teal Gala will replace the Mid Summer Night’s Gala as MOCA’s annual Gala event – and this updated Gala promises to be better than ever! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 18th.
Gala-goers will enjoy a night of entertainment and fun – all to support MOCA’s research, support and programming. Enjoy a silent auction and cocktails (a Tealtini, anyone?) and games during the pre-dinner hours.
Then the ballroom will open for a three-course meal and live auction that will entertain and raise funds for MOCA and the women we serve. We’re also thrilled to announce that Minnesota Public Radio’s Cathy Wurzer will join us as our emcee for the evening.
And you’ll be able to make a night of the event – with entertainment and dancing to follow!
The link to purchase tickets is now open and we expect to have yet another sell-out crowd – so don’t delay, click here to find more information and register now.
The Mid Summer Night’s Gala has always been a night of inspiration – and we know that the Black, White & Teal Gala will continue that teal tradition.
We can’t pull off these amazing, inspirational events without the help of MOCA supporters. If you’re interested in being a table sponsor, or providing a live or silent auction item to help MOCA, please contact MOCA Events Manager Lauren Donna at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the MOCA office at (612) 822-0500.
