5.4.12 It’s a core mission of MOCA – to educate physicians and the general public about ovarian cancer. MOCA Medical Advisory Committee member Dr. Paul Haluska of Mayo Clinic was able to do just that by authoring an article about the symptoms, risk factors and appropriate treatment of ovarian cancer in this month’s edition of Minnesota Health Care News.
We’re thrilled that MOCA could help make this awareness-raising editorial opportunity possible! With 40,000 copies of Minnesota Health Care News distributed to local hospitals, clinics and pharmacies each month, you’ve likely seen a copy in a waiting room or while picking up a prescription.
Click here and go to page 28 to read Dr. Haluska’s article. Special thanks to MOCA Board Member Joy Wetzel for allowing Dr. Haluska to include her personal story! Share it on Facebook, email it to friends and pick up a copy at your local clinic – please join with us to educate others about ovarian cancer.
