MOCA’s Financial Information

MOCA is committed to the most rigorous standards of integrity and transparency. MOCA is evaluated annually and has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, a Platinum rating from GuideStar and meets all standards of the Charities Review Council.

MOCA is committed to efficiency and transparency. We hold our HOM Teal Strides event to raise awareness about ovarian cancer with the general public, support ovarian cancer survivors and fundraise for MOCA programs. As a result, in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidance, MOCA allocates a portion of our HOM Teal Strides fundraising costs to program services. As a nonprofit organization that is exempt from federal taxation, we ensure our donors’ money is spent efficiently and effectively as possible.
