Nov. 9, 2010. We announced the winners of the 2010 MOCA Dream Awards and the Anita Lubov Nursing Scholarships and we recognized the top fundraisers from the 2010 Silent No More Walk/Run.
Advancing Treatment of Ovarian Cancer through Clinical Trials
Sept. 29, 2010. At this meeting we heard from two leaders in cancer research: Dr. Douglas Yee, director of the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center, and Dr. Lynn Hartmann, associate director for education at the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.
MOCA Annual Meeting
May 10, 2010. At this meeting, MOCA recognized board members and elected new ones, recognized our many volunteers, and awarded the 2010 research grants.
A Night of Pampering
April 9, 2010. At this special event for ovarian cancer survivors, Salon Lili owner Will Anderson and his staff opened their doors and donated mini-manicures, paraffin wax dips, hair/scalp treatments, haircuts, color consultations, mini-foils, hair waxing and mini-facials with make-up applications. Wellspring provided complimentary chair massages, and Jan Strassburg from It’s Still Me Wig Studio donated wig and scarf consultations.
