The new year is a great opportunity to reflect on the past year and to approach the year ahead with purpose and intention. In this month’s Teal Talk, MOCA’s Community Support Program Manager Stefanie Gliniany shares how we’ll be exploring vision boards and setting positive intentions at our next MOCA Living Well meeting!
An intention is something to live by that you can carry with you throughout the year. When you sent intentions, you choose to live more mindfully.
After receiving a cancer diagnosis, your sense of normalcy is constantly evolving. Leading with intention can be a powerful tool. Think about what is meaningful to you. What do you want to focus your energy on? Maybe it’s being kind to yourself, spending more time with family or appreciating life’s simple things. Focusing on your heart and what’s important to you can create clarity and self-discovery.
I am personally excited to reflect and set intentions at MOCA’s upcoming Living Well workshop, where we will create our own personal vision boards. I invite you to join me and other survivors, loved ones and caregivers as we explore together. Join us Saturday, February 11th from 1-3 p.m. at Southdale Library, as we set positive intentions to lead us through the year ahead.
