Did you know MOCA is now offering an in-person support group? In May, we held our first in-person MOCA Connections meeting for survivors and loved ones since the pandemic. In this month’s Teal Talk, MOCA Community Support Program Manager Stefanie Gliniany shares about upcoming in-person support offerings.
It felt so good to be together again at our in-person MOCA Connections meeting! Staying connected is so important, and I’m glad MOCA is able to offer this kind of support for those who are interested.
MOCA’s Walking Groups are another way to connect in-person. I invite you to join us the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10-11am to connect, stay active and enjoy the outdoors. This Wednesday, June 14, we will be meeting at Como Lake Park in St. Paul. You can read more information on the MOCA calendar, here.
We understand in-person meetings and activities don’t work for everyone, so our virtual MOCA Connections groups aren’t going anywhere! We will continue to offer these online support groups, both during the day and in the evening hours. For more information or meeting links, please reach out to me at sgliniany@mnovarian.org.
Please know that MOCA is here for you. If you are looking for additional support resources, we have MOCA Mentors, MOCA Cares Kits, and more. If you’d like to explore other support opportunities, please reach out to me at sgliniany@mnovarian.org or give me a call at 612-822-0500.
