Join us at MOCA’s Young Survivor Wellness Summit

MOCA is hosting an all-new event, especially for young adult ovarian cancer survivors, Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. In this month’s Teal Talk, MOCA Community Support Program Manager Stefanie Gliniany writes about what’s in store for our young survivors during this fun morning of connection and learning.

Young survivors face unique challenges in their journeys with ovarian cancer. MOCA’s Young Survivor Wellness Summit will be a morning filled with opportunities to connect, find information and share helpful resources with others who are facing similar circumstances.

During the Young Survivor Wellness Summit, experts will discuss topics such as “life after cancer” and finding your new normal, long-term side effects from cancer treatment, sexual health, menopause and more. We will offer a safe space to share experiences with other young survivors and feel empowered.

Registered guests will enjoy a complimentary lunch and a special opportunity to design their own piece of customized Kendra Scott jewelry at no cost, as part of the Kendra Cares program.

Stay tuned for additional details on the program and day’s events!

This Young Survivor Wellness Summit is made possible with support from Amy Wivell Memorial Funds.
