Carol joined the MOCA Board of Directors in May 2019.

Carol was diagnosed with High Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer stage 3C, in April 2015 and learned about MOCA through a close friend.

It was at a MOCA Connections meeting where she met three ladies who welcomed her with amazing support and caring. Since her diagnosis she has participated in HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer, the Black, White & Teal Gala and other MOCA fundraising events.

Carol loves being part of what MOCA does to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. She is excited to be on the MOCA Board of Directors and to help newly diagnosed patients receive the same support and caring she did when first diagnosed with cancer.

Carol is a freelance photographer and lives in the southern metro with her husband, two teenagers and their black lab “Pepper.”
