Kristine Greer

    Kris Greer is a survivor of Stage 3 ovarian cancer. She previously served as the Chair of MOCA’s Board of Directors, from May 2019 through May 2023. Kris joined the Board again in May 2024.

    Kris is the creator of Light Duluth Teal and founder of Charlene’s Light…A Foundation for Ovarian Cancer, a nonprofit which joined forces with MOCA in 2017. Kris is the Chair of our Light Duluth Teal Gala committee. She serves MOCA as a volunteer for MOCA’s medical education program and our annual Trees of Hope campaign in Duluth. She is also a spokesperson for MOCA and a consumer research reviewer.

    In addition to her altruistic pursuits, Kris is a firm believer in practicing good health as a marathon runner and certified Quantum Touch Healing practitioner. A former preschool teacher and television producer, she now dedicates her time to MOCA.
