Megan Flynn joined the MOCA Board of Directors in 2022 and currently serves as Board Treasurer. Megan was diagnosed with Sertoli Leydig Cell ovarian cancer at the age of 16.

Megan joined the MOCA young survivor community when she moved to the Twin Cities in 2002. Through connections at MOCA, Megan learned of research programs studying her tumor type and enrolled in a study. This research later led to life-saving early detection of a rare childhood cancer in her young son. Megan firmly believes that research and advocacy will make a meaningful difference in the outcomes of future ovarian cancer patients and is excited to further this work through MOCA.

Megan is a certified public accountant and is currently the Vice President of Accounting at Blu Dot Design and Manufacturing in Northeast Minneapolis. She and her husband Michael and their three children live in Edina. They enjoy supporting their favorite soccer team the Minnesota United, skiing and riding bikes.
