Nancy was elected to the MOCA Board of Directors in May 2015. Her involvement with MOCA started in 2002 by participating in HOM Teal Strides when her mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She later became an office volunteer where she learned the internal working of MOCA. This lead to other volunteer roles including HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer Co-Chair; Golf/Gala event volunteer and Annual Meeting/Dream Awards volunteer.
When her mom passed away in 2014, Nancy knew it was more important than ever to help change the course of this disease. She strives to further MOCA’s mission to fund research, provide support to women and families, educate the medical community and raise awareness. Her volunteer experience includes Courage Center Multiple Sclerosis volunteer, Washington State non-profit Ovarian Cancer Together (OCT) Advisor and High School Event Committee Chair/Parent Council Co-Chair.
She attended Washington State University and recently retired from Delta Airlines. She has three adult children and lives with her husband, Scott, in Edina, Minnesota.
