Nancy Libbey was elected to the MOCA Board of Directors in May 2015. She has served in many MOCA volunteer roles including: HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer Co-Chair, Walk/Run Store Co-Chair, Golf/Gala volunteer, Annual Meeting/Dream Awards volunteer, and MOCA office volunteer – where she became familiar with the internal workings of MOCA.
Nancy’s mother Cathy Morris was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2002, at which time Nancy became involved with MOCA. Nancy’s mother was so impressed with MOCA that she helped initiate and run an ovarian cancer support group in Washington State until her death in 2014.
Nancy hopes to help further MOCA’s mission of creating ovarian cancer awareness, support, education, and advancing research to find a cure.
Her volunteer experience includes: Edina High School Event Committee Chair, EHS Parent Council Directory Co-Chair, Courage Center Multiple Sclerosis volunteer, and Washington State non-profit Ovarian Cancer Together (OCT) Advisor.
She attended Washington State University and is a flight attendant with Delta Airlines. She and her husband Scott have 3 boys and live in Edina, Minn.
